0-1-2-3 rule

The ole 0-1-2-3 rule – extracted from a post to Yahoo! Group Mobiledesign

So why did I compare clicks? Simple… it’s called the 0-1-2-3 rule
developed by Sony Ericcson to identify the perfect user experience…

0-1-2-3 rule:
–0 or no required user behavioral changes
–1 log on, point of entry
–2 sec response time
–3 no more than three clicks away

Working mainly in the mobile web, I’d say yes, 2 second response time would be perfect and it’s kinda hard to imagine. Maybe that one should be at #15?

As for no more than 3 clicks away – pshaw! We’re working to 1 click down here – totally off the charts.

Behavioral changes is a good ‘un, too. Make systems intuitive – yes. But even now, who considers SMS’ing normal behavior? You had me at 0.
