Guillaume Thoreau calls the connectivity model on the Kindle a breakthrough:
That’s what I call something huge in term of user experience: no sync via a PC, no WiFi hot-spot hunting, no subscription fee, no subscription at all! It’s a naturally connected device.
It sounds like it – assuming the closed purchase model of buying and subscribing to books, newspapers etc through Amazon subsidises the use of the Sprint network? If that’s the case, I wonder what happens when the first hacks appear allowing free web access…
