Nokia’s Mobile Design Showcase

Lists 10 of the best mobile sites and apps, judged on Ease-of-Use, Interaction design and Visual WOW.

The PDF is available here.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

I think some of the judging sounds like it comes from the software feature list. Like Shozu:

  • One click uploading to over 30 online social networks, blogs, photosites, and other popular
    Web destinations
  • You can add tags, titles and descriptions to the photos before uploading.
  • Photos and videos can be geo-tagged (on a GPS enabled phone)

I also think they’ve avoided iPhone apps. Google Maps on the iPhone is better integrated, looks better and probably runs faster (i’m guessing). Facebook on the iPhone has sweet interactions and looks better than on S60.
