Derek Powazek, who’s DePo Clean Theme The Gungle is using launched DePo Masthead on the 12th September.

It looks great – what a guy. Pioneers online communities and now rad WP themes.

Yep, Derek is a wordpress God.

I like that he references Khoi Vinh’s Subtraction as one of the influences for Depo Clean.

Interestingly, Subtraction also influenced Rogerwilco, but I wasn’t aware of Derek’s work when I went about creating that custom theme – could have saved a lot of hassle.
